The members for the All Time Bowling Team for the State of Alabama are:

The top vote getter for the All-Time Team and the person you have named as the All-Time Best Bowler in the State of Alabama with 26.33% of the vote is: Mr. Marvin Lowery. Marvin was one of the best bowlers of his time, and passed his knowledge on to many of the best bowlers to ever come out of Birmingham. He was proprietor of Bowl-LoMac Lanes with his partner Joe McCorvey. It is hard to try and write about the things Marvin accomplished in his career when I only knew him in his later years, but I will paraphrase the GBBA Website. Marvin shot the second 800 series in Birmingham in 1957 with an 815. Thank you to everyone who voted fro the All-Time Greatest Bowlers in Alabama. I wish someone had written to give me better details about Marvin's career.

The Top Vote Getter for the Current All-State Team is Mr. Ron Ware. Ron is a member of the Hammer Amateur staff. He is a member of the HBA and ASBA Halls of Fame. Last year, he had 48 700 series, 1 800 series, 2 300 games, and a 298 game. Ron is also part owner of Plamor in Huntsville.

I appreciate everyone voting and for both categories and I hope everyone had an opportunity to nominate whom they saw as being worthy of the honors.
