POSITION TITLE, GRADE & PAY: BOWLING FACILITY MAINTENANCE WORKER, NA-3502-03, $7.42 PER HOUR

CATEGORY OF EMPLOYMENT: Flexible (0-40 hours per week)

TOUR OF DUTY: FLEXIBLE

LOCATION: REDSTONE LANES VACANCIES: 3

AREA OF CONSIDERATION: COMMUTING AREA

WHO MAY APPLY: Military Spouse Preference Eligible, Involuntary Separated Military Service Members, Current and Former NAF Employees, Outside Applicants (Veteran's), Outside Applicants (Non-Veteran's).

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Makes minor corrective adjustments to bowling alley machinery and performs periodic preventive maintenance on automatic handling equipment.

Cleans and conditions bowling lanes and return racks; maintains proper stock levels of spare parts and pins for automatic pin setter and mechanical equipment; and assists with general maintenance and cleaning of bowling facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: No prior training or work experience required. Applicant must:

Be able to understand and follow written instructions.
Have ability to handle tools and equipment used.
Be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Be able to actively bend, stoop, reach and work in awkward positions.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Satisfactory completion of all required background checks in accordance with AR 215-3. Applicants selected for employment will be required to complete DA 3433-1 (Supplemental Application Form) as a condition of employment. Refusal of a military spouse to participate in established recruitment procedures (e.g. interview, KSA's where required) is considered a declination of employment and is a basis for termination of Spouse Employment Preference (SEP) entitlement for the current PCS tour of the military sponsor at this installation.
