Although the league standings are not yet on our web site, you may go to bowl.com to see the current standings of all leagues at Woodmere Lanes. Once you go to www.bowl.com, select the leagues tab, then league standings sheets and fill in the information.
DC Chatman ties State Record

Donald "DC" Chatman tied the Alabama high series record of 879 with games of 300, 300, and 279. He accomplished this at Bama Lanes on September 21, 2011. Only a ten pin in the 4th frame of the last game stood during Chatman's record series. |
Teams Set New Local Records
The K-9 Unit team in the Tuesday Strikers bowling at Bama Lanes, Prattville set a new four team record with a 1076 game. Members of the team and their scores were Leroy Cook - 242, Ben Sanford - 276, Terry Brantley - 300 and Don Wright - 258. Also the 1st Place Trophies team bowling in the Rolling Seniors league at Ace Bowling Center set a new record for a mixed one male and one female series with a 1376. Members of that team were Don Coleman - 795 and Ruth Coleman - 581.
Montgomery’s Michael Williams II Becomes First-Time PBA Champion
Michael Williams II, a member of the Central Alabama USBC Association won his first PBA title when he won the PBA Southern Region Spring Hill Open tournament at Spring Hill Lanes in Spring Hill, Florida. Michael defeated Dale Coleman 234 to 174 to collect the $2,500 prize. In the finals he won 8 of his 9 matches. Past winners of this tournament were Walter Ray Williams Jr, Ritchie Allen, Jeff Bellinger, Bob Handley, and Jason Couch. Michael currently ranks in 6th place in points, 5th place in earnings (just behind Rhino Page), 13th in average and has cashed in 5 of the 8 PBA Southern Regional tournaments which is good for a tie for 2nd place. In the 2010-11 season Michael bowled in four association leagues averaging 235, 228, 225, and 224. For the 2010-2011 season he had the highest series for the association with an 835 and is a member of the 2010-2011 All-Star team.
